Animation that explains the thing your website takes four paragraphs to say
People will watch 60 seconds before they will read 600 words. That is the entire argument for animation, and it only holds if the 60 seconds are good.
Web Designs Alchemy writes, storyboards, voices and animates video in house. Script through to final cut sits with one team, which is why the visuals match what the words are doing instead of decorating them. We work with startups, established brands and ecommerce companies across the USA.
- Script and storyboard approved before animation starts
- Professional voiceover, not a synthetic read
- Cutdowns for social included, not quoted later
- Project files and full commercial rights are yours
Changing your mind is cheap at storyboard and expensive at frame 900
This is the one thing that separates a smooth animation project from a painful one. Rewriting a line of script costs minutes. Rewriting it after the scene is animated, voiced and timed costs days, and that is where budgets break and relationships sour. So we lock the script, then lock the storyboard, and you sign off both before anyone opens the animation software. Two revision rounds are included at each of those stages, which is more than most projects use.

Questions clients ask before commissioning a video
How much does an animated video cost?
Ours start at $1,800 for a social motion pack, $3,500 for a scripted explainer up to 90 seconds, and $8,500 where everything is custom illustrated or in 3D. Price tracks the amount drawn from scratch far more than it tracks length. A 60 second video reusing your existing brand assets costs a fraction of a 60 second video with characters drawn from scratch.
How long should my video be?
Sixty to ninety seconds for a homepage explainer. Fifteen to thirty for paid social. Two to three minutes is defensible for training content where people have a reason to keep watching. Beyond that, view completion falls off a cliff, and a longer video usually means the script was not cut hard enough.
Do you write the script or do I?
We write it, after a call with whoever knows the product best. Clients who arrive with a finished script usually find it runs three times too long once it is read aloud at pace, so we will always time it and tell you.
How many revisions do I get?
Two rounds at script and two at storyboard, which is where changes are cheap. After animation begins we handle genuine errors free, but reworking approved scenes is quoted as extra. That is not a trick, it reflects the real cost, and it is why we spend two full weeks getting the plan right first.
Do you use an AI voice or a real one?
A real voice artist, chosen by you from samples. Synthetic voices have improved but still flatten emphasis in a way listeners notice without being able to name it. If budget is tight we will suggest a shorter video with a real voice over a longer one without.
Is the music properly licensed?
Yes, and this matters more than people expect. Every track we use is cleared for commercial and paid advertising use, and we tell you which licence applies. Videos using unlicensed music get pulled from YouTube and can put a client in a genuinely awkward position.
Do I own the finished video?
Yes, with full commercial rights from final payment, plus the project files. Use it in ads, on television, anywhere. Music licences are the one exception, since those are held by the composer and passed to you as a licence rather than ownership.
Can you animate our existing brand style?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper. Send your guidelines and we build the video from your colours, type and logo. If you do not have guidelines, our brand team can produce them first.
Do you shoot live action too?
No, we animate. When a project genuinely needs a camera we will say so and recommend a production company we trust rather than talking you into animation because it is what we sell.
